Soldier’s Song 2012 Performances are Saturday March 31 at 7pm, Sunday April 1 at 4pm, Friday April 6 at 7pm, Saturday April 7 at 7pm, Sunday April 8 at 4pm. Admission is FREE, there will be an offering/donations taken. Seats are first come, first served.
‘Soldier’s Song’ is a theatrical production that depicts the death and resurrection of Christ through the eyes of a Roman Centurion. The play and the original music were written by the late Chris Porter. It was first performed in 1980 in Watertown and has been performed more than 15 times since then. The dates for this production will be Palm Sunday weekend (March 30 – April 1) and Easter Sunday weekend (April 6 – 8 ) of 2012. Performances will be held in the Dulles State Office Building Auditorium. Weekly rehearsals will begin in January of 2012. Rehearsals will be held at Faith Fellowship of Watertown.

Soldier Song.1980…..A play that radically changed my life as a Christian, and gave me incredible insight into the outworking of the Holy Spirit through the Body of Christ. I had the privilege of acting in the first Soldier’s Song at Faith Fellowship Church in 1980, and want to encourage you if you are a Christian to bring a neighbor, friend or colleague to this play. If you are a seeker or skeptic do not let this experience slide by. The music, the script and the Anointing of God will surely be upon this play.
