As I drifted off to sleep last night, I reflected on the days blessings. I had words to share with several family members of Faith, some new, some of the past. I smiled at the glory of serving HIM. I fell asleep to the song “Remember Me” by Mark Schults.
By grace, I reflect…
Yesterday, by the mention of a Brother-in-Christ’s prompt of dream recall, I remembered…
The post… “I use to have dreams where I was soaring through the clouds. Big puffy white ones surrounded me. I was light as a feather. I could see with great clarity and detail, the beauty of what I thought, was Heaven. And then I grew up. The storm clouds set in and the vision became distorted, like looking through broken stained glass. But now, there is a greater vision, a hope and a plan, for me. My sights are now ‘Fixed on Jesus’! My Heaven.
Keep the Dream alive! lol”
As I drifted off to sleep… “Remember Me”…
And again, a dream… In the beginning, the vision is patchy and my recall is vague. As my journey proceeds, the detail, the color, the significance, becomes clearer.
“I am away, on a journey. There is another woman who has accompanied me on this task. I know her, but for now she has no face. There are hurdles to climb and decisions to make, but there is division in the choice. From my mouth, I proclaim… “When in doubt, always air on the side of obedience to our Lord, our God.”
And again, a dream… within a dream… “I saw, from a distance a familiar sight… a grey-scale ‘weave’ pattern, like that of a master basket craftsman. This time it was illuminated. It then, as if the end of a kaleidoscope was making it’s way to me or a tunnel’s end, becoming my starting point, it became crystal clear…
And again, A DREAM!
Before me stands… In brilliant colors of Red, White, & Blue, a basket woven in God’s American Dream.”
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” “All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:37-39, 40
Saints… there is a great call to unity in the kingdom of God. We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord! United we stand! Divided we fall! One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Be part of God’s fabric in and for America.
