Elder of Distinction!

Elders of Distinction… To Corky & Carolyn Yelle!

 From the heart of… jams4JESUS [Thursday, November 25, 2010]

I take this Thanksgiving Day to say… a word from my heart.

The last time I saw you Carolyn, I couldn’t help but to notice the Lord’s glow on your face.  And I thought… the Lord must truly love her.  This Scripture kept coming to me when I prayed intercession for you…  “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify the Father in Heaven” (Matt 5:16).   I thought it was from Matthew 5:13 but in verifying my reference, I discovered a message the Lord had previously brought to me, and now I share…

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14 – 16)

Several months ago… I saw you Carolyn, in a vision.  You were a beckon, a lamp set on a lampstand in your hospital room.  The Lord had placed you there to be the light in the darkness.  A signal and a call to those who needed safe guiding back Home, to Him.  Thank you good and faithful servant of the Lord!  And to Corky, your strength and perseverance, to watch over and protect the investment the Lord has given to your care.  I have seen you give and receive freely by the prompt of the Holy Spirit.  Your sincere humility and giving spirit is noticed, especially by HIM who sent you.

I am Thankful for both of you together and as the individual saints for Christ that you are.  As a mother and a father in Christ, you have guided by the Spirit and have taken seriously your mission to “Train up a child in the way they should go…”  And so when we have become mature, we too can be mothers and fathers in Jesus… humble and teachable spirits > Disciples!  There are our ‘elders’, and then there are “ELDERS”.  THANK YOU CORKY AND CAROLYN for the Godly Gifts of you in my life!  On this THANKSgiving, I take the time to say THANK YOU BOTH for your THANKserving.  I Love you incredibly!  In all things PRAISE THE LORD!

Y_E_S!  In all things PRAISE THE LORD!  I am THANKFUL the Lord had placed the above message on my heart, to write my dear friends on Thanksgiving Day 2010.  As always His timing is perfect.  I PRAISE THE LORD for His gifts in the form of His people [Corky and Carolyn Yelle] and my time spent with them this side of Heaven.  My sister, my mother, my friend, my “Elder” in Christ… Carolyn Yelle went Home to be with Jesus last night.

The Light that had once shone so brightly from Carolyn to us, has now taken up its rightful residence in Heaven…

“Well done good and faithful servant”… an Elder of Distinction!

It has become apparent to me, that I pay my respects to those I love and honor while I may have opportunity to share… this side of Heaven.

I LOVE YOU CAROLYN!  Tell Jesus I said “HI”.  See you soon… for a glorious reunion.
