Alpha Omega Transformer
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” [Revelation 1:8 NKJV]
Transform… “To change the form or appearance of. To change the nature or character of; convert. To subject to the action of a transformer. To be or become changed in form or character.” [NI Webster’s edition]
O my Lord… You have said to me “I AM the God of Restoration. I AM the God of Healing. I AM GOD!” But for me, my God, is there a Transformation? I put my future hope there. I do not want to go back to the beginning but to press on toward the goal, having been transformed by the renewing of my mind. [Philippians 3:8-9] A new creation… old things having passed away, behold the new comes [2 Cor. 5:17]. To restore would mean to drudge up the past, with all its limitations, and to mend or repair it. But how can one mend or repair the things that were never there? I desire a fresh and new life… Transformation. From this day forward…
” 13I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. 15So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also. 16Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that. ” [Philippians 3:13-16]
For the past few days this message had been evolving, but it was this morning that I felt the approval to blog it. So I began… I was interrupted mid-way by a phone call as I was in search mode for the Scriptures that were flooding my mind. After the call had ended, I remembered that I had not read the Scriptures from Dr. Charles Stanley’s Daily Devotional. [Keep in mind, I only read the Scriptures now.] I knew from past experience that God would wow me with His planned provision through His daily Word. And He did… The title of Dr. Stanley’s message for today is “The Touch That Transforms”. Who knew? I didn’t. Yep, consider me WOWed. I have included a link to Dr. Stanley’s InTouch devotional and provided the recommended Scripture reading [Matthew 19] if you are interested. [see below]
Back to business… From Matthew 19 I did see a message from this Word that absolutely spoke to me, but that message has to remain with me. I will say that I feel it necessary to first place my old business on the table and then move to retire it, before I can venture on to the NEW.
So here’s my parable… I ventured into a business that I was not given full access to, or honest knowledge of, the business by-laws* or the other partners ‘business records’. I did not have all the pertinent information about the business deal to make a wise decision. Personally, I felt utterly bankrupt by this deception. Not only had I felt emotionally […spiritually, psychologically, physically…] spent, but by the lack of regard and protection of my assets and investments, this bad business deal served to potentially corrupt them. If only the parties involved had considered my value in the company, my risk, my investments, and placed enough trust and faith in God; to fully disclose when it was about choice… before the merger.
OK, enough said about old business. My heart’s desire is for the new. I apologize for using this blog for my personal business but my residence has no room for Conference.
My God has told me He is the God of Restoration. Although I am all about my Father’s business, I am so looking for TRANSFORMATION, not restoring what I do not have. If I did not receive in the beginning, how am I to go back and hold on? My God says He is the God of Healing. I pray with all my heart that He does just that. If my partners have never been instructed in good conscience, “what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God” [Romans 12:2], the true laws of this business, and the intimacy involved in business affairs, I pray Your healing Lord be upon them [us]. I absolutely pray for complete restoration and transformation for all parties involved. I am in NO position to throw stones or to weigh anyone’s crimes to my own. I seek resolution for my small business affairs before The Court. I cry JESUS… my Alpha Omega Transformer!
… the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior, 21Who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself.
And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul).
*Bylaw (sometimes also spelled by-law or byelaw) can refer to a law of local or limited application, passed under the authority of a higher law specifying what things may be regulated by the bylaw, or it can refer to the internal rules of a company or organization. [Wikipedia encyclopedia]
1When Jesus had finished these words, He departed from Galilee and came into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan;
2and large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.
3Some Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?”
4And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,
5and said, ‘FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH’?
6“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”
7They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY?”
8He said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way.
9“And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
10The disciples said to Him, “If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry.”
11But He said to them, “Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom it has been given.
12“For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it.”
Jesus Blesses Little Children
13Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
15After laying His hands on them, He departed from there.
The Rich Young Ruler
16And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?”
17And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18Then he said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS;
19HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
20The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?”
21Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
22But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
23And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24“Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?”
26And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
The Disciples’ Reward
27Then Peter said to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?”
28And Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother [a]or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life.
30“But many who are first will be last; and the last, first.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
[ The Glorious New Creation ] “ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [ which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].
