Prisoners @ War

Thanksgiving for Return from Captivity.
A Song of Ascents.

    1When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion,
         We were like those who dream.
    2Then our mouth was filled with laughter
         And our tongue with joyful shouting;
         Then they said among the nations,
         “The LORD has done great things for them.”
    3The LORD has done great things for us;
         We are glad.
    4Restore our captivity, O LORD,
         As the streams in the South.
    5Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
    6He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed,
         Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
                                         [Psalm 126]

High and to the left was a window with bars.  I could see light illuminating between the lines.  I then saw the wall of stone that encapsulated the window, it filled the remaining scope of my vision.  It was then I looked upon the window again and thought “Am I inside or outside?”  As those words left my mind, I then saw a patch of long grass, flowers, or weeds [“A weed that flowers is still a weed”] directly below the window… “I’m outside.”  In the blink of an eye, the bars on the window blended together, blocking the light, transforming into a complete wall.

“Oh my God, what does this mean?  What am I to take from what I have been given?”  I then saw a transformed, familiar sight… There was a magnitude of people silhouettes in front of me.  They were closer than I remember them and it was as if they were forming shape in front of me.  “Jesus, this is different.  Is this You I am receiving from?  What am I seeing and what do I do?”  I saw a key and then I saw myself at a women’s prophetic conference that I was to attend in three days.

I could now see myself as if I was watching from a short distance.  The speaker [who I did not know] was standing over me and I was released to speak.  As I stood and opened my mouth, words came forth, and I saw people dressed in angelic form rise up in beams of Light.  Within the beams of Light, [I knew] was healing rain.  They escaladed up in various rates, some faster than others, all with harmony.  At one point, I thought I was seeing an illuminated lifeline on a heart monitor…

It was then I awoke.

I can see again, a man of God, standing in chains.  I know this man and he thinks he knows me.  He stands in bondage.  Four chains conceal him.  Three chains, side-touching-side, are held just below his heart, binding him captive.  The fourth appears to connect just below the heart and migrates upward, moving across his chest, with an appearance like a slice or wedge separating the three from the one; or together, like a man wearing a chain link sash and cumber bun.  This fourth chain appeared to threaten the man.  It looked as if it sought to strangle or choke him, and also, it found opposition to his heart and detachment from the three…

It was then I awoke.

And for today… the first [dream] returned to me and I saw… A prison chamber in the natural.  It was dark.  It had cells on either side.  At the top left of the wall opposite of my position, was a window with bars.  I looked down and saw a key in my hand and I heard… “Prisoners @ War”, “release them”.  As the key touched the door of the cells, they swung open.  My spirit danced.  I have now received an answer to prayer… an interpretation of dreams.

It was then I awoke…

Over a week has passed and the conference has come and gone.  Yes, I attended.  I heard the speaker say to the general assembly many words…

“the key”
“you set the tone”
“Tune in, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit”
“Fulfillment… to find the missing piece to put the puzzle together [see Ephesians 5:8]”
“Lead your captivity, captive… Wake up Barak and _____” [see Judges 5:12]
“Turn again our captivity Oh Lord”
“Captor to Captive, Captive to Captor”
“Returned as free, released from bondage, victorious, the enemy under command”… decapitated
“Jesus led captivity→ captive” [Psalm 126]
“Every captive set free, brought back… REDEEMED!”

As words sung over me, I saw in a vision, a bee.  The speaker had just told of the song of Deborah.  She made mention of the meaning of Deborah’s name… “a bee” and that a bee stirs those around it and confuses its enemy, as does prophesy.  Wake up Christians!  Be stirred!

It was then, I knew.

And as I read my notes from the conference this morning… A Word from Sunday morning [April 10th], that stirred me to go to church against my will **, came back to me…  “Go, I will redeem you My Israel [the chosen]”  HE didn’t say when, but…

It is now, I know.

The Song of Deborah and Barak

 1Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying,
    2“That the leaders led in Israel,
         That the people volunteered,
         Bless the LORD!
    3“Hear, O kings; give ear, O rulers!
         I–to the LORD, I will sing,
         I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
    4“LORD, when You went out from Seir,
         When You marched from the field of Edom,
         The earth quaked, the heavens also dripped,
         Even the clouds dripped water.
    5“The mountains quaked at the presence of the LORD,
         This Sinai, at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
    6“In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath,
         In the days of Jael, the highways were deserted,
         And travelers went by roundabout ways.
    7“The peasantry ceased, they ceased in Israel,
         Until I, Deborah, arose,
         Until I arose, a mother in Israel.
    8“New gods were chosen;
         Then war was in the gates.
         Not a shield or a spear was seen
         Among forty thousand in Israel.
    9“My heart goes out to the commanders of Israel,
         The volunteers among the people;
         Bless the LORD!
    10“You who ride on white donkeys,
         You who sit on rich carpets,
         And you who travel on the road–sing!
    11“At the sound of those who divide flocks among the watering places,
         There they shall recount the righteous deeds of the LORD,
         The righteous deeds for His peasantry in Israel
         Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates.
    12“Awake, awake, Deborah;
         Awake, awake, sing a song!
         Arise, Barak, and take away your captives, O son of Abinoam.
    13“Then survivors came down to the nobles;
         The people of the LORD came down to me as warriors.
    14“From Ephraim those whose root is in Amalek came down,
         Following you, Benjamin, with your peoples;
         From Machir commanders came down,
         And from Zebulun those who wield the staff of office.
    15“And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah;
         As was Issachar, so was Barak;
         Into the valley they rushed at his heels;
         Among the divisions of Reuben
         There were great resolves of heart.
    16“Why did you sit among the [a]sheepfolds,
         To hear the piping for the flocks?
         Among the divisions of Reuben
         There were great searchings of heart.
    17“Gilead remained across the Jordan;
         And why did Dan stay in ships?
         Asher sat at the seashore,
         And remained by its landings.
    18“Zebulun was a people who despised their lives even to death,
         And Naphtali also, on the high places of the field.
    19“The kings came and fought;
         Then fought the kings of Canaan
         At Taanach near the waters of Megiddo;
         They took no plunder in silver.
    20“The stars fought from heaven,
         From their courses they fought against Sisera.
    21“The torrent of Kishon swept them away,
         The ancient torrent, the torrent Kishon.
         O my soul, march on with strength.
    22“Then the horses’ hoofs beat
         From the dashing, the dashing of his valiant steeds.
    23‘Curse Meroz,’ said the angel of the LORD,
         ‘Utterly curse its inhabitants;
         Because they did not come to the help of the LORD,
         To the help of the LORD against the warriors.’
    24“Most blessed of women is Jael,
         The wife of Heber the Kenite;
         Most blessed is she of women in the tent.
    25“He asked for water and she gave him milk;
         In a magnificent bowl she brought him curds.
    26“She reached out her hand for the tent peg,
         And her right hand for the workmen’s hammer.
         Then she struck Sisera, she smashed his head;
         And she shattered and pierced his temple.
    27“Between her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay;
         Between her feet he bowed, he fell;
         Where he bowed, there he fell dead.
    28“Out of the window she looked and lamented,
         The mother of Sisera through the lattice,
         ‘Why does his chariot delay in coming?
         Why do the hoofbeats of his chariots tarry?’
    29“Her wise princesses would answer her,
         Indeed she repeats her words to herself,
    30‘Are they not finding, are they not dividing the spoil?
         A maiden, two maidens for every warrior;
         To Sisera a spoil of dyed work,
         A spoil of dyed work embroidered,
         Dyed work of double embroidery on the neck of the spoiler?’
    31“Thus let all Your enemies perish, O LORD;
         But let those who love Him be like the rising of the sun in its might.”
         And the land was undisturbed for forty years.
                                    [Judges 5]

**From my mouth I cried in protest… “I can’t take one more false teacher, false prophet, or false Christian.”  And sadly, on this day… all three.
