“9.11” I think I saw Jesus… in the firefighters, the police officers, the National Guard and American Soldiers; the clergy, the Salvation Army, the counselors and those He said “go”; the givers of time, helps, and money donations; the unified media; and all those standing by in love and support. I think I saw, standing in His place, with His character… the rescuers and protectors, the guides, the listeners, and the encouragers, the providers, the communicators, and the intercessory prayers… for such a time as this.
This morning, Sunday, September 11, 2011, I was blessed with…
“For you… I gave My love,
For you… I gave My life,
For you… I came… to give you life and love… abundantly.”
As much as this blessed me, having realized the significance of the day, I knew also… this ones for you. For as much as we have sacrificed, He gave first… and more. So for today… Remember the loved ones, remember the unity, remember the testimonies, remember the sacrifice, remember the heroes, remember the fallen, and even remember the falling downs, that we may place into perspective, how far we have come… with Jesus. But, we can’t stop there…
Oh my God… Please do not let us forget the significance of 9.11. Jesus… let us not lose sight of You, Your character, and the great unity in the Spirit. Lord… I pray we learn from our mistakes and that we earnestly seek Your Spirit, Your guidance, Your strength, Your wisdom, Your provision, Your face; not ours. I pray we always remember just who it is that rescues, protects, guides, listens, encourages with hope, communicates, provides, LOVES, and GIVES LIFE… abundantly. Father… Let us not fall away from FAITH; in doing good for our neighbors, and loving like Jesus. I pray to remember and serve “ONE NATION UNDER GOD”. Knowing… United we stand. Divided we fall. With liberty and justice as a free gift to all… who call on the name of the Lord.
“For we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love God, those called according to His purpose.” [Romans 8:28]
If our God is for us, who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, what could stand against… and win?
I pray it again…
